DTU Skylab is the innovation hub at the Danish Technical University. In their new building, complete with labs, workshops, offices, auditorium and more, people from the different institutes come together with people from outside of the school, they host extra-curricular events and make a space for tech start-ups to grow and develop.

The variable display typeface I made embraces everything 'tech', and is inspired by cell-mitosis and magnetic fluids. It grows from nothing, into separate parts that at some point attract each other and integrate. Like DTU Skylab, this typeface is all about growth, connection and science.
